The Story Behind Droplet Trailer
Born From A Passion For Accessible Camping
Droplet Trailer’s founder, Pascal, is an outdoor enthusiast who loves camping frequently. However, his tall body size (6’4”) made most campers unusable at worst – and confined at best. Inspired to find a solution, he built a prototype of a more accessible camper in his living room. He then started Droplet Trailer with the intention of sharing meaningful camping experiences with everyone
Pascal graduated in 1998 from France’s university equivalent of MIT with a masters in engineering and experience in product design management. He worked almost 20 years afterwards before starting Droplet Trailer in 2017. Since then, he and his team have built over 100 custom teardrop trailers.
Small BC Trailers With Big Ambition
Our Mission
We strive to be the best option for lightweight, reliable, and affordable campers for sale in BC Canada. Camping brings memorable and meaningful experiences for people – our mission is to make camping more accessible for everyone. As part of our mission, we are dedicated to our community, and we have free campsite for Droplet trailer owners and renters. Our dream is to rally Coast to Coast in North America by 2025, connecting people with the outdoors.
Our Community
Our roots may be in making campers for sale in BC Canada, but our community has grown across North America. We support a community of Droplet trailer owners and renters to engage with each other. We have a dedicated rental marketplace, allowing owners to rent out their trailers for extra cash when not in use and renters to try a Droplet trailer or just go camping at a very affordable cost.
Our Contribution
In addition to providing accessible camping, we are also committed to the environment through sustainability. The reduced weight of our teardrop trailers minimizes fuel consumption when compared with heavier alternatives. Additionally, we partner with PECO locally to repurpose our unused plastics during manufacturing into natural artwork.
