What to Expect: Ordering your DROPLET

Firstly, we’d like to thank you for considering DROPLET for your camping needs. This blog post is here to answer any questions you might have and to paint a picture of what you can expect before and after you place your order.

After I order, when will my DROPLET arrive?

The whole process takes around two months, from the purchase of the material to the production. The delivery will occur based on when you place your order and your number in line.

How much does it cost to ship the DROPLET?

We can only provide loose estimations, use the guide below to check the loose estimation of how much it will cost to ship to your hometown.

Phoenix, AZ – $2,100 CAD (All Inclusive)
San-Francisco, CA $1,500 CAD (All Inclusive)
Miami, Fl $4,000 CAD (All Inclusive)
Chicago, IL $2,700 CAD (All Inclusive)
Montreal, QC $3,200 + QC tax
Winnipeg, MB $1,900 + MB Tax

Note: You will need to hire a tilt-and-load tow truck locally to deliver to your home. The cost for those is around $100-$200 each.

What kind of warranty is available?

All DROPLET owners are offered a one-year warranty that covers rust and leaking.

 

What are my payment options?

At this time, we do not offer financing. Although, we are accepting deposits. You have the option to put a deposit of $5,000 CAD down to reserve a production stop. The deposit will be non-refundable 2 months prior to the scheduled shipping date. Deposits can only be made at the full price.

What about taxes?

Taxes are not included in the above sale prices.

For Canadians: If you live in British Columbia or will be picking your trailer up in British Columbia, GST and PST will be applied to your purchase. If you are from a province other than British Columbia and require shipping, the taxes applied to your purchase will be GST, PST, and HST.

For Americans: There will be no sales tax for non-Canadians residents if shipped, the sales tax will be the responsibility of the buyer.

What does my order include?

At this time, we are not offering any customizations or add-ons to the DROPLET teardrop camping trailers that will be sold during the pre-sale. Meaning, each of you who is placing an order can expect the original model, which includes:
